Anna Þorbjörg has over 20 years of experience in financial markets. Her prior roles include Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Fossar Investment Bank and Chief Investment Officer, co-founder, and Chairman of World Financial Desk, a quantitative trading firm in NYC. She currently serves on the board of Lyf og heilsa. She holds an M.A. in Economics from UCLA and an M.Sc. in Financial Mathematics from USC and is a certified securities broker in Iceland and the United States.

Árni Jón has over a decade of experience in the financial sector, focusing on debt and equity raising, restructuring, and M&A. He currently serves on the boards of Invit, Tixly, Skyggnir, and Origo, and previously held board positions at Borgarplast and Málmsteypan, as well as Heimavellir prior to its delisting. Markús has extensive experience in investment management. From 2008 to 2021, he worked at TM, Iceland’s leading insurance company, where he served as Head of Investments from 2015. Fanndís brings over five years of experience in finance and operations and joined Alfa Framtak in 2023. She previously worked in Marel’s finance department. During her master’s studies, she interned in Icelandair Group’s Treasury and Risk department and earlier worked as an office manager at Heimaleiga. Fanndís holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, as well as an MCF in Corporate Finance and an MBM in Business Management from Reykjavík University.

He joins from the Pension Fund of Commerce, where he managed the fund’s foreign equities and bonds. Previously, he worked at Capital Four in Copenhagen and at Kvika Bank in risk management and corporate finance. Hjalti holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Reykjavík University and an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from the University of Iceland. He is a CFA charterholder and a certified securities broker.
